    At Kidz Catterick, we believe that every child is a capable, curious learner. Our daily planned activities are thoughtfully designed around each child’s interests and developmental needs, ensuring a personalised and engaging experience.
    Children are encouraged to be independent and make choices throughout the day. Our continuous provision runs across the entire nursery, all week long, giving every child access to a wide range of enriching activities that support their growth.
    We deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through play-based learning, allowing children to explore freely while developing key skills in:

    Explorers

    Practitioner: 1- 5 ratio

    Your little toddler is full of curiosity, exploring the world and developing a strong sense of self.

    At our nursery, we celebrate this exciting stage with a toddler program designed to support both individual discovery and social growth. Through child-led learning, children build confidence as they connect with peers in an environment that encourages togetherness, cooperation, and empathy. Every day, our practitioners guide toddlers through engaging activities that promote early communication, emotional wellbeing, and a growing love of learning.

    The toddlers eat meals at tables together and enjoy an open concept playroom with free play and weekly activities that promote exploration and learning. The children can free flow from our garden room and enjoy our outdoor area filled with leaning opportunities .
    A toddler’s day consists of:

    Little Treasures

    Practitioner: 1-3 ratio

    Your baby will thrive in a safe, secure, and stimulating nursery environment

    tailored to support every stage of early childhood development. Each day follows a gentle, flexible rhythm that respects every child’s unique routine and needs. Our experienced practitioners plan activities based on the children’s interests, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and confidence through play-based learning. During circle time, we lead songs and share age-appropriate stories using engaging props to spark imagination and support early literacy skills. When the weather allows, we head outside for nature walks or enjoy outdoor adventures in our secure, well-equipped nursery play yard—nurturing a love of exploration and the outdoors.

    Our family-oriented playspace

    is thoughtfully arranged with a wide selection of age-appropriate toys to inspire exploration and development. For our younger children, we provide low feeding chairs and coracles, while toddlers enjoy low-level tables and chairs—encouraging a sense of community and togetherness at mealtimes.

    In our dedicated baby area, practitioners do more than meet your child’s physical needs—they nurture curiosity and a love of learning through enriching experiences such as:
